Internal Performance Test Results
All tests conducted internally by VENTECH Inc. engineering team.

FAN Airflow & Air Pressure Test

FAN Airflow & Air Pressure Test
A smoke generator was used to visualize airflow patterns around and through the FANON mask. By tracking the movement of visible smoke, both the airflow volume and air pressure output of the internal fan system were measured and evaluated under real-world operating conditions.
* * Test conducted with the filter removed.
Test Result
PASS — Airflow volume and air pressure levels were successfully measured and confirmed via smoke visualization across all fan speed settings. (Airflow is sufficient for most everyday conditions; however, it may not fully meet demands in extreme exertion scenarios such as marathon running.)

Shower Waterproof Wash Test (10 min) — Mask & Rear Neck Power Case

Shower Waterproof Wash Test (10 min) — Mask & Rear Neck Power Case
The FANON mask and rear neck power case were subjected to continuous direct water spray from a showerhead for 10 minutes to simulate real-world exposure conditions. Both units were tested while powered on throughout the duration, and full functionality was verified immediately after the sustained water exposure.
Test Result
PASS — Full operation maintained during and after direct shower water exposure. Mask & FAN: IP68 Rear Neck Power Case: IPX4

Blade Penetration Resistance — Parts

Blade Penetration Resistance — Parts
Individual FANON mask parts were subjected to a sharpened sashimi knife penetration test to evaluate the structural integrity and resistance of the shell material under sharp-force impact. Each part was tested separately to assess material strength and deformation behavior.
Test Result
PASS — Parts maintained structural integrity with no critical penetration or fracture. Approx. 20 stabs at 90° vertical angle with both hands at full force. The outer mask cover (1st of 4 layers) was penetrated, but the blade did not reach the second layer (2nd of 4 layers). After the test, the tip of the sashimi knife was found to be bent.

Rock Drop Impact Resistance

Rock Drop Impact Resistance
A rock was dropped onto the exterior surface of the FANON mask from a standardized height to simulate real-world accidental impact scenarios. The device was then inspected for structural damage and tested for full operational functionality immediately after impact.
Test Result
PASS — No structural deformation or functional failure observed after impact.

Freeze Durability After Water Exposure

Freeze Durability After Water Exposure
Water was poured over the exterior of the device. Immediately after, the unit was placed in a freezer at −20 °C for 24 hours. Upon removal, the device was powered on and tested for full functionality without any warm-up period.
Test Result
PASS — Full operation confirmed immediately after removal from freezer.
